Maple Dijon Dressing

Made in just 5 minutes or less, this maple Dijon dressing is a flavorful blend of sweet and savory ingredients, effortlessly elevating any garden salad! It's quick and easy to make, using common pantry ingredients.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  • Use a whisk or a fork to rapidly mix the dressing together.  Continue mixing until the olive oil has emulsified into the other liquid ingredients.  
  • The dressing will have a slightly creamy consistency when it's fully mixed together. 
  • Drizzle Maple Dijon Dressing over your favorite garden salad or chopped raw vegetables.  You can serve the dressing immediately or transfer it to a glass jar to enjoy throughout the week.  

Notes

  • Another way to mix up this dressing is to add all of the ingredients to a glass mason jar, tightly screw on the mason jar lid, and give it a good shake!
  • As the dressing sits, it may start to separate. This is easily fixed by mixing it together again with a whisk or a fork.
