Creamy Dill Salad Dressing
The easiest and best way to elevate a basic garden salad is with homemade salad dressing! My Creamy Dill Salad Dressing recipe is fresh, flavorful, herby, and has a hint of tang - thanks to Greek yogurt and lemon juice! This recipe is made in under 10 minutes with only a mixing bowl and a whisk!
Prep Time10 minutes mins
Total Time10 minutes mins
Servings: 6
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons dried dill
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
- up to ¼ cup cold water
Add all of the ingredients except for the water to a medium-sized mixing bowl and whisk until smooth.
Slowly add the water, 1 tablespoon at a time, whisking after each addition. Only add water if you want to thin out the dressing. The more water you add, the thinner the dressing will be. If you want a nice and thick dip, then you might not want to add any water.
You can serve it immediately or store it in the fridge for 5-7 days. Enjoy this delicious dressing and dip with your favorite salad, fresh vegetables, or as a topping for white fish!
- Store leftover Creamy Dill Dressing in a glass, airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- You can enjoy this salad dressing and dip right away, however, letting it refrigerate for about 30 minutes will increase the intensity of the flavors as they blend together.
