Sausage Spinach Quiche is a delicious addition to your next breakfast, brunch or lunch menu! It's also a quick and easy side dish to bring to your Easter or Mother's Day gathering. This quiche recipe only calls for 6 main ingredients, making prep time minimal and cleanup a breeze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 unbaked 9" pie crust
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup cooked crumbly breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, half and half, salt and pepper.  Set aside.
  3. Start layering your dry ingredients into the bottom of the pie shell.  Start with the sausage, then the spinach and then the cheese.
  4. Slowly pour the entire egg mixture over top of the dry ingredients in the pie crust.
  5. Carefully transfer your quiche to the oven and bake for 45-60 minutes.  Start checking the quiche at 45 minutes and continue cooking for up to 1 hour.  Your quiche is done when it is firm in the center and when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let cool before serving and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use an unbaked homemade pie crust, a premade refrigerated pie crust, or a premade frozen pie crust.
  • You can choose crumbly chicken, turkey, or pork breakfast sausage.
  • If you are worried about the quiche spilling when transferring to the oven, you can bake it in a pie plate on top of a rimmed baking sheet.
