Maple Dijon Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  2. Use a whisk or a fork to rapidly mix the dressing together.  Continue mixing until the olive oil has emulsified into the other liquid ingredients.  
  3. The dressing will have a slightly creamy consistency when it's fully mixed together. 
  4. Drizzle Maple Dijon Dressing over your favorite garden salad or chopped raw vegetables.  You can serve the dressing immediately or transfer it to a glass jar to enjoy throughout the week.  

Notes

  • Another way to mix up this dressing is to add all of the ingredients to a glass mason jar, tightly screw on the mason jar lid, and give it a good shake!
  • As the dressing sits, it may start to separate. This is easily fixed by mixing it together again with a whisk or a fork.
